What we keep
You chatted on a YouTube live stream, and a creature was made for you. You did not ask for that, and you were not asked first, so this page tells you what was made, what is kept, and how to stop it.
Version 2026-08-29, last updated 29 August 2026.
What is collected, and where it comes from
Everything comes from YouTube's live chat while a broadcast is running. Nothing is collected from you directly, and nothing follows you to any other website.
Each message carries your display name, your YouTube channel identifier, the address of your channel picture, and the text you typed. That is all that arrives.
What is made from it
A creature, which is yours and is kept. A count of how many minutes you spoke in, which becomes points, a level and a place on the leaderboard. A page under your handle, showing your creature and your collection.
A model reads the chat while a broadcast is running, to pick out messages worth showing on it or reading aloud. What it decides about a message is deleted as soon as the broadcast has been processed. The points it awarded stay, because those are on the boards.
No note describing you is written unless you have given consent for one, and none is ever written from messages you sent on YouTube.
How long each part is kept
Your creature is kept forever, along with what you did in each broadcast. Those are ours to keep: they are numbers we worked out, not anything YouTube gave us.
Totals across broadcasts are only worked out once you link a YouTube channel to an account here. Until then there is no running total of your messages, your level or your experience, because a record building across broadcasts is a profile and you have not asked for one. Nothing is lost by waiting: what you did in each broadcast is kept, and the whole history is added up the moment you link.
Credits work the same way. Everyone gets one on their first message of each broadcast. Without a link that is all you get, and it is spendable only in that broadcast; with one, your experience converts to credits as well and they carry over. Linking hands you everything you never spent, plus three for linking.
Your chat messages are deleted 30 days after they were captured. A past message cannot be fetched again, so it cannot be refreshed, and it goes.
What the model decided about each message is deleted as soon as the broadcast has been processed, along with anything you asked to have spoken or answered that was never shown, and the audio of anything that was. None of it was ever published, so none of it is kept.
Your name, your picture and your page are deleted 28 days after you were last seen. Every new message restarts that clock, so if you keep chatting they never expire. If you stop, the name comes off the save. The save itself stays. If you hold an account, your name and picture are your own and do not expire at all.
Come back after a year and your creature is still there, because you are recognised by a one-way code made from your channel identifier rather than by the identifier itself. We hold the code. We do not hold what it was made from once that time is up.
What is shown, and to whom
During a broadcast: your handle, your picture, your creature, and how many messages you sent in that broadcast. This is a relay of what YouTube is already showing.
Afterwards, while your 30 days hold: your handle, your picture, your creature and your collection on your page. No activity figures, because a record that builds up across broadcasts is a profile.
Nobody can see your chat history, your activity across broadcasts, or any note written about you. Search engines are blocked from your page.
The recording of the broadcast
The broadcast is recorded, and the recording keeps whatever was on screen at the time. If your handle, your picture or something you typed was shown while you were chatting, it is in that recording.
Recordings are not edited. If you ask to be deleted, everything held about you goes: your record, your page, your creature, your messages and anything written about you. The footage of a past broadcast stays as it was, in the same way a video of a public event is not re-cut afterwards.
If you would rather not appear in one, the simplest answer is not to chat during it. Watching leaves no trace at all.
Where it goes
These providers hold or process it on our instructions, and none of them may use it for anything else: Supabase stores it, Cloudflare stores video and images, the site host serves it, Anthropic reads chat to pick out messages worth showing and writes summaries, the payment provider handles orders, and eco3d.shop receives your code and your game state so your creature can be shown and printed.
It is never sold, and it is never used for advertising.
Two commands, and what each one does
Type either of these in the chat. Each is undone by the other, and neither deletes anything.
What !stop does to what is already there depends on whether you have an account. Without one, your creature comes off the overlay, your page stops resolving and you leave every board, straight away. With one, your page and your figures stay and simply stop moving: you agreed to those being shown when you signed up, and that agreement is what publishes them. Leaving it is deletion, below.
Messages you sent on YouTube stop being copied here at once, and YouTube keeps showing them in its own chat either way. Messages you typed on this site stay in the room, because other people were reading them.
How to be deleted
Deletion is not a chat command, and no command starts one or cancels one. It takes everything: your record, your page, your creature, your messages wherever they are, and anything written about you.
If you have an account, do it from the danger zone on your account page. Being signed in is proof enough, so there is no code and nothing to post anywhere.
If you do not, the deletion page gives you a short code with no account and no email address. Post it from the YouTube channel you chatted with, either as a comment on the most recent broadcast or in the live chat during the next one.
Either way, everything disappears from the site within a few minutes and is deleted for good seven days later. Inside those seven days you can undo it: from the same account page, or with a second code from the same page.
Proving which record is yours is the reason for the code. We cannot tell who you are from an email address, and the code means nothing to anyone who reads it, so posting it tells nobody what you asked for.
Only ever post a code you took from that page yourself. We will never ask you to post one, and neither will anyone else on our behalf.
How to see what is held
Most of it is already on your page: your handle, your picture, your creature and your collection. What is not shown there is your chat from the last 30 days, and any note written about you, which only exists if you gave consent for one.
With an account, your account page shows everything held against it. Without one, write to support@vids.tube. A reply comes within one month, usually far sooner, and will ask how to establish which record is yours: an email address alone does not say. Where that cannot be established we will tell you so, rather than hand your record to somebody else.
Signing up
Signing up buys a handle and a page that never expire, colour editing, breeding, and the ability to print your creature. It does not buy keeping the creature. You keep that either way.
Who is responsible
Az Gazzola, sole trader, Australia. Suite 4034, Shop 7, 290-306 Anakie Rd, Norlane VIC 3214.
This service is offered in Australia. It is not aimed at Europe or the United Kingdom, and orders are not delivered there.
The rest of this page is the full policy: the legal ground for each use, everyone who receives anything, and how to complain. Nothing above it changed when it was published.
Privacy policy
Everything above is this policy in plain words. What follows is the same thing said completely: the legal ground for each use, everyone who receives anything, how long each part is kept, and what you can require of us. In force from 29 August 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
Az Gazzola, sole trader, of Suite 4034, Shop 7, 290-306 Anakie Rd, Norlane VIC 3214, Australia, decides what is collected and why. The same person runs eco3d.shop, and this policy is published on both.
Write to support@vids.tube or to the address above. A reply comes within one month.
Where your data comes from
Most of it did not come from you. It came from YouTube live chat, through YouTube's official interface for developers, while you were chatting on a broadcast. Your message, the name and picture shown beside it, and the identifier of your channel all arrive that way.
The rest you gave directly: an account, a message typed on this site, a command you used.
What is collected, and why we are allowed to
Australian law asks whether a collection is reasonably necessary and whether you were told. European law, where it reaches, asks for one of six named grounds. Each use below names the ground relied on.
How long each part is kept
Who else receives it
Each of these holds or handles data on our instructions and may not use it for anything else. It is never sold and never used for advertising.
Supabase, Cloudflare, Anthropic and the site host all process outside Australia. Speech is generated on our own machine and leaves it only as the audio you hear on the broadcast. Each is covered by that provider's own processing agreement and the standard contractual clauses within it.
Text-to-speech, and one thing that cannot be undone
Speech is generated on our own machine from 3 September 2026, and nothing you ask to have spoken is sent to a speech provider any more.
Before that date, the text of a message read aloud was sent to ElevenLabs. That provider's setting excluding text from training future models is not retroactive. A message spoken before the setting was applied may already have been used, and there is no way to withdraw something a model has learned from. Dropping the provider stops anything new being sent and changes nothing about what was already sent, so this stays here as a record rather than being quietly deleted.
YouTube
This service uses YouTube API Services. By using it you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What you can require of us
We never act on an unverified email, and we never disclose a record to an address that has not been shown to belong to the person the record is about. An email address on its own does not tell us which record is yours.
Decisions made about you
No automated decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect is made about anyone. A model scoring a message decides whether it is worth showing on the broadcast, and nothing else. Points and levels are arithmetic, not judgements.
Where this applies, and who may use it
This service is offered in Australia. It is not aimed at Europe or the United Kingdom, and prints are not delivered there. You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
The terms of use cover what an account is, what credits are, and what happens to a collection if an account ends.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top of the page is the date this version took effect. Where a change alters what is published about existing members, they are told before it takes effect rather than after.
